PORTLAND KOLLEL

DISCOVER YOUR JEWISH CONNECTION

PORTLAND KOLLEL - WHEREVER YOU ARE, WE ARE

Whether you're Reform, Conservative, Orthodox, unaffiliated or somewhere in between, your most vibrant source for non-Synagogue based Jewish learning in Portland is the Kollel. With classes, programs and informal settings throughout the city, the Portland Kollel brings a new perspective of meaning to everyday Jewish life.

WHAT WE DO

WHAT DOES THE KOLLEL ACTUALLY DO?

1.

EDUCATION FOR ALL

Kollel is the premier source of high-quality and experiential Jewish learning in Portland. We teach classes, small groups and one-on-ones in locations all over the city to Jews of all ages, backgrounds and affiliations on any Jewish topic of interest.

2.

INFRASTRUCTURE & MORE

Kollel also leads the community in other projects including the Portland Eruv and the new Portland Mikva Project (in conjunction with the Federation and Oregon Board of Rabbis).

3.

TEEN PROGRAMMING

A life-changer, Portland NCSY is nationally recognized for firing up teens with "Shabbat Shebang" events, unforgettable trips and charismatic speakers.

NCSY is an independent Kollel-affiliated program and is not funded by the Kollel.

4.

EAT, PRAY, LOVE

Oregon Kosher was founded by the Portland Kollel in 2007 and has since become the premier Kosher supervision agency in the Pacific Northwest.

5.

WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

Kollel is dedicated to the importance of collaboration and unification. We support numerous Jewish organizations in Portland including synagogues, schools and the Federation by teaching classes and lending resources.
